On January 19, 2019, Women's March San Jose will unite along with multiple other cities in California and across the nation to reaffirm our commitment to building a positive and just future for all, and to celebrate the spirit of resistance efforts over the past year. This movement is only possible with the help of volunteers.

Peace Ambassadors help to keep marches and demonstrations peaceful and safe. We're looking for friendly, diplomatic types who can respond calmly during tense situations.  If this is you, and you want to help at the Women's March on January 19th, then please join us for a mandatory volunteer training. This training is for both new and returning volunteers.

This session teaches the CLARA technique for nonviolent engagement, de-escalation skills, and other practical tools, and includes role-play. Upon completion, those who wish to serve will be provided further instructions and opportunities to sign-up to help at Women’s March on Jan. 19.

We will be holding two training’s

Saturday, January 5 from 9:00 am to 12:00 Noon.

Sunday, January 13 11:00 am - 2:00 pm

We will cover event details, the principles of peaceful protest, and how to be part of our safety plan.

Bring your Women's March friends and help us put on a powerful and safe event for everyone.

Please RSVP for the 1/5 training via Eventbrite or learn more on Facebook.
